PRESS RELEASE | Last call for papers on international conference in Food Security
LEGAZPI CITY. In partnership with Bicol University (BU), the United Nations Association of the Philippines (UNAP), a member of the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA), has issued a final call for all scholars to submit their scientific abstracts for oral presentations on various topic areas.
The conference, featuring the theme "Future-Proofing Human and Food Security," will focus on six subject areas: Climate Change Impact Adaptation and Mitigation; Peace and Security and Sustainable Development; Ecosystem Integrity and Food Security; Infrastructure Development, Trade and Industry; Governance and Human Capital Development; and Engineering and S&T Innovations.
Online registration had started last August 22 and the deadline of abstract submission was extended to September 20, while the full paper submission was also extended to October 7. Interested registrants may directly fill-out the Google form through https://bit.ly/3p1YRKg. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm registration.

The registration price is split into two different packages: The conference fee is ₱6,000 and an optional conference tour fee of ₱2,500. Conference fee is inclusive of welcome dinner on October 23, snacks, lunch, and dinner for October 24 and 25, and a conference kit with t-shirt and token.

On October 24 and 25, the international conference will be held at the Pepperland Hotel in Legazpi City. All attendees must carry their vaccination cards with them at all times.
