Who is Going to Win The Election?
By Andrew Azizollahi
It is 2024, and election day is November 5. Things are going wild, and the polls and news about the presidential candidates are getting outlandish and bizarre! Here are the basics of what you need to know to understand the landscape of this exciting election.
Eleven presidential candidates have dropped out; there are now three remaining Republicans, including Trump, Haley, and Binkley. There are only three Democrats: Biden, Williamson, and Philips. Likewise, three third-party presidential candidates, Kennedy, West, and Stein, will be voted for. ,
We all know that Trump and Biden are likely to be in the nominations for the Republican and Democratic parties, but it will be very tough to know who will win. A recent New York Times poll showed that for some states, Trump is up, but for other states, Biden is up. A separate survey shows the following results:
Biden has received 36% support.
Haley has received 29% support.
Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has received 21% support, and independent candidate Cornel West has received 3% support.
Green Party candidate Jill Stein has received 2% support.
Here is a brief biography of our three Republican candidates. Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946, and served as the 45th president of the US from 2017 to 2021. Nikki Haley started politics at a young age and served in the South Carolina House of Representatives. Finally, Ryan Binkley was born in Columbus, Georgia, and started his career working at the Boston Scientific Corporation. He announced his candidacy for the election on April 23, 2024.
Similarly, here is some information about the three Democratic candidates. Joe Biden is already pretty popular, known for being the (current) 46th president of the United States in the democrats party. Not known by many is that Biden was an attorney before starting politics and was the sixth youngest senator in the US. Another Democratic candidate is Williamson, who ran for president in 2020 and later dropped out. Last, for the democrats, there is Dean Phillips, who went to Brown University, BA in urban studies, 1991; University of Minnesota. According to www.cfr.org, he was running as "a proud Democrat" who "will do everything I possibly can."
Finally, we will start with Robert Kennedy for the biography of the third-party presidential candidate. He served as senior attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council and was a child with eleven siblings. He was born to Ethel and Robert F. Kennedy. He is also named after his father, and his full name is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Next, there is Cornel West, who attended Harvard University and later went to Princeton and earned a master's degree and a doctorate in philosophy. As a child, he participated in civil rights demonstrations with his family in Sacramento. Lastly, there is Jill Stein, who entered politics in 2002. She also ran for president of the United States in the democrats party in 2016.
To conclude this article, this year's election will be exciting, and while the polls are pointing towards Trump or Biden, someone else could still step ahead! In conclusion, the presidential elections are coming up soon.

Impeach Joe Biden as President
By Jordana Danielpour
Joe Biden should be impeached because he could be better at handling the economy. "Instead, policymakers have added to the deficit, and borrowing has continued very high. We estimate the Biden Administration has enacted policies through legislation and executive actions that will add more than $4.8 trillion to deficits between 2021 and 2031." SOURCE? Biden's decisions and actions have led to an increased debt to the economy and show that President Biden needs to be made aware and considerate of the public by constructing his careless spending policies.
Biden is getting much older; as time passes, he is not getting younger. Considering the many tumbles and falls he has taken, it has been easy to see, putting him in danger. Two examples illustrate my view. "Biden stumbles multiple times as he scales the Air Force One stairs. President Joe Biden took a leisurely bike ride in his home state of Delaware, and as he came to a stop to greet supporters, he fell awkwardly on his right side. As an orthopedic surgeon, I know that this is the type of dangerous fall in which the elderly can easily break their hip.
As he ages, he appears more unaware of his surroundings and can be damaged very easily. As an easily older person with old and gentle bones, he has fallen many times and tumbled, and if that keeps happening, it will just put him at risk for his health and stability.
Biden does not have a proper grip on immigration policies. "Immigration advocates told NBC News that they are frustrated by President Biden's confusing border policies and believe his administration has "no clear wins" on immigration, the outlet reported Saturday. "There are no clear wins for him. It is one step forward and two steps back. Moreover, that is not a recipe for success in making a case" (NBC News).
This proves my point because it symbolizes and illustrates that Biden does not have a good grasp on his immigration policies, which impact the public, especially since they are a crucial topic that affects our nation.
Some might argue that Biden does not directly control inflation or gas prices, and others say that a president should not be judged by age. While this might be true, people are blowing this out of proportion. Just because Biden does not have complete control over gas prices or inflation does not mean he has no influence or opinion towards it that impacts the economy and the public.
I am not stating that Biden cannot be president because he is old. Many excellent and famous presidents were elders, but their physical health was not exceptional when they fell and took many tumbles. He is getting weaker, considering what we require, and it shows that Biden needs to be equipped to lead the country. That is why he needs to be impeached from his presidency and retire from politics.
Overall, Biden has given the government, the public, and myself many motives and reasons to dislike or not approve of his decisions, opinions, and initiatives, such as his immigration policies, spending, and general health. There are many alternative decisions and ways the government, public, and presidents worldwide can help contribute to helping our economy, nation, and society from plummeting to the ground.
