What is Elemental really about?
By Mielle Bitton
Elemental is a movie based on characters representing the four elements: water, wind, earth, and fire. All elements have their areas in town. Water, wind, and earth hang out in the same place and can be around each other, but fire is separated from the rest because it poses a danger to others. Fire used to live in its land, but it moved to an elemental city and started its village.
This movie revolves around a fire girl named Ember Lumen, whose father owns a fire shop. This movie is also about a water guy named Wade Ripple, a city inspector who might need to shut down Embers fathers store. Wade and Ember build an uninspected spark for one another. The only problem is that they are fire and water and can not mix. If water is too close to the fire, it may evaporate, and if fire touches the water, the fire will get put out.
Ember and Wade have ups and downs, but their love for each other never disappears. Ember and Wade hold hands despite their differences, but nothing terrible happens. At the end of the movie, they kiss. Ember has a fantastic talent for making things out of glass. At the movie's end, Wade and Ember move away temporarily so Ember can share her talent with the world.
Ember and Wade have had their hardships, but they always seem to find their way back to each other. This movie proves that opposites attract and that love can not be stopped.
Gilmore Girls: A Binge-Worthy Comfort Show
by Mazu Rakhsha
Comfort shows are light and uplifting television shows intended to help an audience wind down and relieve the stress of daily life. However, like any other type of entertainment, some shows do this more effectively than others.
Gilmore Girls is the perfect comfort show due to its cozy and whimsical atmosphere, memorable character interactions, and highly successful characters that can serve as inspirational figures.
The general atmosphere of Gilmore Girls is one of the most quaint and welcoming a viewer will come across. The setting, Stars Hollow (a fictional Connecticut small town), is always festive, with endless seasonal events such as the Winter Carnival, where the protagonist Lorelai's dog, Paul Anka, is the fortune teller. If that is not enticing enough, then the warm color scheme that is easy on the eyes and reminiscent of autumn is an even greater reason to watch the show. Each scene's natural brown, crimson, and ivory hues can quickly soothe viewers.
Moreover, Gilmore Girls has many independent and successful characters that will effortlessly inspire a viewer. The show features all types of success, from Lorelai Gilmore, an aspiring inn owner who worked her way up from being a maid, all the way to Rory Gilmore, who goes from being a hardworking transfer student at her highly competitive private school, Chilton, to becoming valedictorian and attending Yale. No matter an audience's goals, they will be motivated by the strong work ethic and big dreams of at least one of the show's characters.
However, some viewers may claim that the dramatic events and emotionally intensive plot points throughout Gilmore Girls do not make it a suitable comfort show.
While this might be true, the intense storylines in Gilmore Girls are always supported by lighthearted moments and amusing character interactions to charm a viewer. In each episode, while the protagonists are dealing with more significant conflicts, there is always room for the friendly side characters to have their moment to shine. For example, in one episode, Kirk (a Stars Hollow resident) adopts an aggressive cat and shares his amusing pet anecdotes throughout the episode. This event and many others do not affect any future plot points but instead, provide viewers with a small quantity of humor they need in their chosen comfort show.
Overall, Gilmore Girls has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, lively character interactions, and characters that positively influence audiences. Who could resist curling up on the sofa and spending an evening watching Gilmore Girls?

Give Enola Holmes a Watch
By Mazu Rakhsha
Chances are, you have heard of the book series Sherlock Holmes and its many adaptations, which all tell the tale of a clever young sleuth unraveling mystery after mystery. However, you may not be familiar with Sherlock’s equally brilliant sister, Enola. Enola Holmes, directed by Harry Bradbeer and released in 2020, is a mystery film that shows viewers the perspective of Sherlock’s often-overlooked sister, who finally unveils her hidden potential when solving a complicated mystery before her brother. It is a compelling film with a strikingly lovable protagonist and effective creation of suspense, although the writers could have created closure more successfully.
Enola Holmes features Milly Bobby Brown as the title character, Enola. Initially, Enola is portrayed as a girl who is both unruly and intelligent but has never indeed been out into the real world, having spent all sixteen years of her life at home with her mother. The character was well-executed, both in terms of writing and acting. Enola’s dialogue establishes her as a girl who was not deliberately trying to be wild but found it challenging to conform to the harsh standards of young girls at the time (the film was set in the 19th century). Enola was kind and enthusiastic, but she also had a fiercely independent air and found it difficult to see why she should constantly have to tone down her energy to “improve her manners.” Even when she comes across her love interest, Enola maintains the sharp edge that makes her an appealing character. As the audience, it is easy to sympathize with her good intentions, making for a likable and well-written protagonist.
Other elements that worked well in the film were the cinematography and soundtrack. They both embodied and emphasized the overall mood of the scene without distracting a viewer from the plot. Some of the most memorable scenes were the suspenseful ones, with eerie, unpredictable rhythms, long takes, and unexpected cuts that increased tension. Overall, the soundtrack and cinematography choices enhanced the mood of the film.
However, like any film, Enola Holmes has its imperfections. The most apparent flaw in the film was at the end when the relationship between Enola and her mother (who mysteriously disappeared at the beginning) did not receive much closure. Enola sees and embraces her mother again at the end of the film, with her mother briefly describing how she ran away due to imminent danger. However, ultimately, there was not much explanation for her continued disappearance. She left Enola alone once more (yes, without a proper reason) and went on with her life, which was a strange way to end a film that began with Enola describing how she and her mother were inseparable for sixteen years.
Ultimately, Enola Holmes is a great film that effectively combines coming-of-age with mystery and leaves viewers hooked from the very beginning. The film could have been improved with minor tweaks, but its current state is undoubtedly still worth watching.
Online Games Review

Fortnite is a free battle royale game with cosmetics you can purchase, such as skins, pickaxes, and more. The game also has a battle pass, which costs 950 V-bucks, a Fortnite currency. When you level up, you can get things from the battle pass, like skins and bucks. Fortnite is popular; it is one of the most popular games in the world, and it has also won many game awards.
In Fortnite, you fight other players; there is a selection of Solo, Duo, Trio, and Squads. There are 100 people in each match. Fortnite also has lore, but a new one canceled all lore after their old creative designer retired.
The new creative designer is the creator of Kratos and helped with Marvel and many other things! Fortnite has themes for every season, like their new season, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Myths and Mortals, a Greek mythology theme with characters like Zeus, Aphrodite, and more Greek characters. Fortnite has different game modes like team rumble, which is a 50 VS 50 game mode; Creative and UEFN, which are Fortnite’s sandboxes, Lego believe or not yes Lego, Lego Creative; Rocket Racing, which is Rocket League in Fortnite, and Fortnite Festival, which has many different singers like the weekend, Fortnite Festival is a guitar hero in Fortnite and many other games.
Epic Games owns Fortnite, which also owns games like Rocket League. Fortnite has many collaborations, including the most, with 414 collaboration skins. I am going to some of the collaborations in Fortnite right now.
Marvel, Family Guy, DC, Naruto, Many other anime companies, and many more. Disney recently bought a percentage of Fortnite, so we should expect more collaborations. Fortnite has won about 20 game awards, has about a few million players daily, and has more than 500 million registered players.
Fortnite is also a very competitive game; every season, there is a tournament called FNCS in which you can win money and a pickaxe that you can only have till next season. Fortnite has many other tournaments to win awards and money. In 2019, there was a tournament called the World Cup in which Fortnite pro-Bugha won a cash prize of 3 million dollars, which is much money.

Katy Perry Is A Dazzling Performer
By Mielle Bitton
Lights, camera, action. Katy Perry dazzled us last year in Vegas with her outstanding performance. She blew my mind, and I bet she would -blow yours, too.
Katy Perry’s concert occurred at the Resort World Hotel in Las Vegas. The whole concept of the concert was that Katy and a few other performers are dolls, and they go through all the stages of being a doll: Getting home, being played with, getting thrown out, and more. Next, a live screen came down and played the part of the show like the first stage. Katy then comes out from behind the stage and dazzles the crowd. In a show-stopping outfit and a performance you could never forget.
I have to say that whoever designed Katy Perry’s outfits needed a raise because they were out of this world. The concert was a blast, and it made me smile. I was singing my heart out, and I bet you would be, too. Katy put her heart into this concert, and her songs made the crowd go wild. You should see it when Katy Perry returns for another concert worldwide.
In conclusion, you should go to the concert if you enjoy Katy Perry’s music. I think you will have a blast.
Top 3 Best Superbowl Ads 2024
By Andrew Azizollahi
Superbowl ads are some of the funniest and most entertaining parts of the Super Bowl. One of the best reasons they are so put together is that they cost seven million dollars to have a thirty-second ad, which is why they are very amusing. Now, here are the top three Superbull ads of 2024.
The first ad is "Feel Planty Good" for Silk almond milk. It starts with a celebrity (Renard) injured by a snow plow, sipping almond milk, and goes crazy. He starts slicing strawberries in the air and feels good with that protein. He then throws pancakes on a plate like they are ninja stars.
The second-best ad was Cera…Ve for CeraVe. It starts with Michael Cera getting a back massage with the moisturizer. Then he goes to an ocean, and the dolphin talks to him in "dolphin language" and tells him how moisturized his skin is. Then he tells the dolphin in "dolphin language," "Thank you, yours too."
The best and final ad is Like a Good Neighbaaaaaa by State Farm. This ad was hilarious. Dave at State Farm goes into a burning house to save his neighbor's dogs and kids and says, "Like a Good Neighbaaaaaa, State Farm is here". Then there is a cut scene, and the directors get mad at him since he says "neighbaaaaaa" instead of neighbor.
Superbowl ads are hilarious, and I just presented you with the top 3.
