Grade 8 science is a hands-on activity and laboratory class. Some science activities may present potential hazards if not managed properly. Safety in the science classroom is an important part of the scientific process and is the #1 priority for students, teachers and parents. To ensure a safe classroom, a list of rules has been developed called the Science Safety Contract. These rules MUST be followed at all times by students as they complete their lab requirements.
***No student will be allowed to participate in science labs or activities until this contract has been signed by both the student and a parent/guardian.
***Alternative assignment(s) will be provided until the contract is signed.
