I am also posting the answers to the review sheet here:
REVIEW FOR YOUR UNIT EXAM - and make sure that all of your work is caught up!
Last Class will be an EXAM on FORCES
We are moving on from speed to ACCELERATION (and deceleration, too). Please complete the reading guide!
Today you will complete 2 separate activities - an Edpuzzle on Acceleration and a worksheet that asks you to calculate SPEED, VELOCITY AND ACCELERATION.
I will post the answers here for the calculations worksheet on MONDAY - make sure you hand yours in by the end of the day on Sunday in order to get full credit.
In the activity today you will take a look at SPEED and ACCELERATION in a different way - as graphs.
Today is a CATCH-UP DAY - it is important that you have all of your assignments complete before next week!
TBA - NEWTON'S LAWS - I will be presenting NOTES in class today:
We will finish our study of friction by watching friction at work - the Mythbusters will show just how powerful a force friction really is. Please watch Phone Book Friction and answer the questions on Edpuzzle.
Friction is finished and we will now be moving on to GRAVITY - please complete the Guided Reading.
Today you will complete and Edpuzzle on the factors that affect gravity and complete some virtual gravity activities (on Classroom).
The topic for today is SPEED! I will be presenting notes:
For class today you will investigate the benefits of increasing or decreasing friction. REMEMBER, you need to change the amount of friction (increase or decrease) to help the activity that you are doing.
Today you will be completing a project outline - please return it back to me ASAP so I can give you feedback on your project.
Please work on your FRICTION PROJECT. By today, make sure you:
Please work on your FRICTION PROJECT. By today, make sure you:

Your FRICTION PROJECT IS DUE TODAY.
Today we will continue our Forces Unit with the following assignments:
Please let me know if you have any trouble with the diagrams. I'll be posting the answers to the worksheet here on Wednesday.
Please check eSchool today to see what you are missing.
Please finish your force/force diagram assignments - They will be marked with a ! (on eSchool) until the end of the day - then, if they are not turned in they will become a "MISSING" (that means a 0 until it is handed in)
I will be posting the answers to the Force Diagram Worksheet here (on my website) tomorrow - MAY 13! You need to get the force diagram worksheet done by the end of the day today (5/12) or I am going to take 5 points off!
TAKE THE TIME TO CATCH UP ON PAST ASSIGNMENTS. Many of you have to make corrections on your simple machine projects or finish some Edpuzzles...maybe some other things. You can also take this time to do corrections on your assignments and resubmit them.
...I'm still working on the Simple Machine Projects - if it says "collected" you turned it in.
Remember, it's only "MISSING" if eSchool says "MISSING" - if it's just a ! it's not due yet. *** If it's "missing" in Google Classroom it's either really missing, or you haven't submitted it yet!
TO DO: Once you have read all of this and done all of this please send me an email that says what is going well with your distance learning experience, what is not going as well, and, of course, let me know if I made any mistakes (or forgot something) on eSchool!
We are going to be looking specifically at FRICTION!
I am assigning a Friction Guided Reading. Please make sure that you read the whole text - it will come in handy for the project.
I will be introducing the Friction Project today - you need to attend to make sure that you understand the requirements.
Your project is due TODAY. I highly recommend that you submit it through the link on the rubric - via Screencastify (shown below).
You have a short quiz on SImple Machines on Wednesday. You will be reviewing with a QUIZIZZ on Classroom.
