DHH Program

The BHASED's Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs are for students in Preschool to High School and is housed in age appropriate public schools .   The BHASED Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program recognizes and supports the diversity of each student with hearing loss.   The programs are built on the philosophy of Total Communication (sign language, speech, visuals, AAC, etc).  We utilize research based practices to meet their academic, social emotional, and vocational needs.  Students are provided opportunities within a variety of learning environments (self-contained, special education resource,  general education, job coaches, extra curricular, etc). We facilitate independence and self-advocacy to empower students to make successful life choices.
