The Joseph Tinius LEAD Academy is designed to support freshman students during their transition to high school. Structured as a school within a school, the LEAD Academy works with a specialized team that includes a dedicated freshman principal, guidance counselor, and teachers. 

The goal of LEAD Academy is to ensure the successful transition of students to high school by providing freshmen with a caring, positive, and structured environment. The goal is achieved by fostering meaningful relationships, celebrating success, and providing academic/behavior support systems. We believe it is the responsibility of LEAD Academy to provide all students with a strong foundation for a positive high school experience at Bowling Green High.
