Get familiar with the concepts and tools of computer science as you learn a subset of the Java programming language. You’ll do hands-on work to design, write, and test computer programs that solve problems or accomplish tasks. You'll learn how to design a program, develop the algorithms it needs, and write code to implement them. In addition, you'll learn how to test program code and correct errors, and document and explaining how program code works.
Students also have the opportunity to take the MTA Introduction to Java certification exam. Sample Exams: MTA Java Test 1, Test 2 (MTA Passing Score >=70%)
