Backyard Trees

Count:

• How many trees you see

• How many kind of trees you see

Compare:

• The shapes of the leaves

• How tall the trees are

Look for:

• Animals living in or around the trees (squirrels, birds, ants, etc.)

• Different colors of leaves and flowers

Listen for:

• Birds or animals in the trees

• Wind or rain touching the leaves

Feel:

• The bark of the trees

• The leaves or needles
