As the chick grows in the egg, we can see the dark area where it is.

The chick at the top just hatched, while the one at the bottom hatched a few hours before. They dry quickly!
After they dry, we introduce the chicks to food and water, then let them rest and play!
This chick is a couple days old - it is still very small and doesn't have true feathers yet.
After a couple weeks, the chicks develop feathers on their wings and bodies.
