Mrs. Andersen!

My name is Cayla Andersen and I graduated from Lawrence University Conservatory of Music. I spent my first 22 years of life in Appleton, WI (GO PACKERS!) and this will be my 11th year teaching music in Iowa, 5th at B-F. I LOVE MY JOB because sharing music is so special and I get to do that with my students EVERY! DAY!

I have an EXTREMELY CUTE cat named Jim who also loves music. He likes to chase yarn balls when I am knitting sleeps in a basket in the kitchen often because I love to cook and bake. He is very talkative and meows along when I play piano and sing at home. He is brother to human baby Wes who is also extremely cute and will be one in November.

My husband and I love to be in nature, so we are often hiking, biking, running, backpacking, camping, sledding... anything outside! We got married in June, 2023 and have taken our homemade teardrop camper to 12 national parks! Wes likes camping in the camper and has joined us for hikes at 2 national parks already.
