Hello everyone! My name is Trey Hill and this is my 4th year teaching at Bondurant-Farrar. I am from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and went to the University of Iowa - GO HAWKS!! I am a saxophone player and have a delightful cat named Charlie. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, reading, and watching TV/movies! I love to share my passion and joy for music with students. As a child that had the odds stacked against them growing up, band is what saved me. It gave me a group to belong to and a place to express myself. Not every child will have the same experience I had growing up, but I will try my hardest to ensure that each student has a safe, fun, and educational environment to make music in!

Hi! My name is Kate Cassaidy and I am the new band teacher here at Bondurant-Farrar. I'm so excited to join Mr. Hill, Ms. Breitbach, and Mr. Wipperman! I am originally from Williamsburg, IA and I also went to the University of Iowa like Mr. Hill did. I was in the Hawkeye Marching Band, as well as the concert bands too, and absolutely LOVE college football. I've known since 7th grade that I wanted to be a band director, and after graduating college in December 2021 I got to go and do what I've always wanted to: teach band! When I'm not at school I love to spend time with my husband Ben, read books, play pickleball, and take our puppy Maya and cat Cameron on walks. I'm excited to help each and every student on their musical journey! :)
