Welcome back to another year of accomplishing musical goals!!!

 am grateful  for your decision to play again with our band this year! We have many reasons to be excited about this school year! With hard work and a willingness tp practice we will meet musical milestones together. It is my goal to provide you with the information and skills to bring you to your next level musically.

Wind Instruments should be working on long tones (hold a low or medium range note for 8 beats while trying to keep the sound of the note the exact same) and Major and minor scales. 

Percussion should be working on 3 stadard rudiments:

Doubles RR,LL,RR,LL,RR,LL

Singles: RLRL,RLRL,RLRL,RLRL

Paradiddle RLRR,LRLL,RLRR,LRLL...

These skills will be explored in band class and will remain as fundamental skills for the band student's development on instruments. 

 In order to contribute to the bands success, make sure this year finds you practicing hard, bringing your instrument, supporting classmates, remaining positive and high-level faith in you self as a developing musician!
