Happy Monday! State testing starts THIS Thursday.  Please note the dates/times below.  If you have any questions please email me.  


Please look at the dates below and be mindful of the helpful tips:


DATES for 3rd Grade testing:

Thursday, April 4th @ 8:30 a.m.

Thursday, April 11th @ 8: 30 a.m.

Thursday, April 18th @ 8:30 a.m.


**Please make sure your child does the following things in preparation for the test:

      *Get plenty of sleep the night before

      *Eat a healthy breakfast before coming to school

      *Arrive on time to school (they will not be permitted to test 

        with our class if we have already started)



What we are doing in Room 13 this week:


Spalding - We will be entering 20 new words this week in our spelling notebooks. I have included an example of what your child's notebook should look like below. 


Grammar - We are finishing our unit on adverbs.


Writing - We will be reviewing for state testing! 


Math - We are testing on Module 21 and will begin Module 13.


Literature - We will be continuing the book, Stuart Little by E.B. White.
