Classwork & Participation: This grade includes graded assignments or activities that have been assigned on Google classroom. This also includes, but is not limited to, following directions, effort, creativity, coming prepared to class, and actively participating in virtual class discussions.
Assessments:Throughout each term students will be periodically quizzed on concepts. Prior notice may not always be given for quizzes, as they are sometimes designed to quickly check in on your child’s progress. There are no retakes allowed for quizzes. Your child’s test grade is based on various assessments throughout each term. In addition, some major assignments (large writing assignments, extension activities, projects) will also be weighted as a test grade. If a student scores 65 or below, they are allowed to make test corrections for up to one letter grade increase.
SchoolBrains: Grades will be posted to the online grade book. Please log in regularly to check on your child's academic progress.
