ISTE Student Standard: Digital Citizen

Students recognize the rights, responsibilities and opportunities of living, learning and working in an interconnected digital world, and they act and model in ways that are safe, legal and ethical.

When researching, be sure to use reliable sources. Here are two reliable sources you should use for your research.

Database for Research:

We use the Gale In Context Database. If you want to use it at home, please see your teacher's Google Classroom for the code.

Another great resource we have for research is the Britannica Online Encyclopedia. If you want to use it at home, please see your teacher's Google Classroom for the code.

When using information from a source/s, you must cite WHERE your evidence came from. Here is how to do that AND a great list of options on how to introduce a quote or piece of evidence.

You need to watch all three of these in order to know how to log into Noodletools, set up a project page, and then to cite using either a webpage or using the Gale in Context Database. Each video is less than five minutes long.
