I grew up in a small town in upstate New York before attending the University of Rhode Island. While at the University of Rhode Island I played soccer for 1 year while earning my bachelors degree in Secondary Education and Chemistry. I later attended Concordia University where I earned my masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction with a basis in Science Education.
I began teaching at Bethel High School during the 2010-2011 school year. Since I have began teaching at Bethel I have taught all levels of chemistry (began teaching AP during the 2017-2018 school year) and a physics class.
This will be a very challenging yet rewarding year.
You will be pushed harder academically than you ever have before.
You will learn more about yourself as a student than you ever thought possible.
Never hesitate to ask for help.
"It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome."
-William James
