Ruth and Steve are the Senior Overseers of BSSM Online and Directors of BSSM Alumni and BSSM School Planting. They also oversee Commissioning and Ordination for Bethel Redding. Steve and Ruth travel and speak at various churches and organizations, and are passionate about equipping the body of Christ to live naturally supernatural life. They have a huge heart for cultivating healthy families, activating leaders and carrying hope.

Ruth is originally from the south of England and Steve is from Ohio. They first met at BSSM and now have a young daughter named Hannah and newborn named Jack. Ruth has a First-Class Honors Degree in Psychology from the University of Bath, and Steve has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Anderson University. The Moore’s favorite things to do are spend time as a family and they love going on beach holidays.

Richard Gordon was raised in South Africa where he married his beautiful wife, Libby, and completed his BSc in Computer Engineering and MSc in Electronic Engineering. He has had the privilege of working alongside some of the world’s best tech companies. Richard and his wife work together at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry Online (BSSMO). Richard is also the Spiritual Director over the Bethel School of Technology. His dream is to raise up world-changers and influencers like Daniel who will shape and shift culture, encountering and ushering in the presence of God wherever they go. He comes alive, igniting the potential in people around him and seeing the Glory of God move across the earth!

Laurie Ann was born and raised in the deep south in Birmingham, Alabama. She met and fell wildly in love with Jesus at a young age and has been passionately preaching about His love to the largest crowd she could find ever since. After college, she spent years in the Interior Design industry before co-founding an inner healing ministry called Freedom House Movement. In 2017, they moved their family to Redding, California in the pursuit of the more of God. She completed two years of BSSM before coming on staff as a Revival Group Pastor. 

Laurie Ann has a passion and calling to raise up wholehearted leaders. She ministers in an outpouring of the Father’s love and joy. Her desire is to see all of God’s children walk in total freedom, brought into wholeness through supernatural healing of body, soul and spirit. She lives to see the restoration of hearts through the manifest presence of Jesus. She has been happily married to her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, Rainer, since 2005. Together they have six beautiful, world-changing children.

Brad grew up in the coastal town of Durban, South Africa. After doing all his schooling there he did a theology program and started what would end up being 10 years of full time ministry. That included youth pastoring, worship pastoring, traveling around, both nationally and internationally, preaching and leading worship. Later he felt to study jazz and in that year started a mainstream rock band with a few friends. The band launched and had instant favor starting a new career as a professional musician, even winning an MTV award.

 7 years later, he and his beautiful wife Carla moved to Redding to attend  Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, completing the first and second years and being hired in his third year as a Revival Group Pastor. His heart is for Kingdom revival, in the church and outside of it, and thrives seeing people encounter God!

Gerardo is a BSSM alumni, after graduating, he returned to Mexico and was part of Bethel’s first school of ministry plant. He served his local church for over 20 years as the Worship leader, Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor. Gerardo has many talents as a mentor, translator, and preacher. He has a passion for business and has worked in the marketplace for over 20 years. Gerardo was a First Year Revival Group Pastor for the past 4 years. He is excited to now be a BSSM Online RGP and at the same time pioneering and preparing the future Spanish BSSM Online. 

He has traveled internationally delivering a fresh message of hope and power. He carries a father’s heart. He dreams of seeing a generation that is known for strong families and powerful communities. He loves spending time with his wife, Cecilia and their 3 children. They love outdoor activities, traveling and family movie nights.

Louise is originally from a small town called Llanelli in Wales. She first came to the US in 2008 to attend BSSM. She did all three years of BSSM where she met her now husband Gabriel. 

Louise has more than 5 year of experience in administration and she truly infuses joy into every task! She grew up traveling the world with her parents and has a love for the nations, especially Europe and the United Kingdom! She loves traveling, game nights with friends and family, British food, and finding fun wherever it can be found! Louise’s heart is to help bring people into a deeper revelation of God as a good Father.

Shawn is passionate about loving, serving, and pouring everything he has and knows into those he is around. He loves the moments when Holy Spirit comes over him while talking or praying with someone and they are completely changed by His touch. He and his family sold their businesses in East Texas to pursue more of God! He has completed three years of BSSM and has found the deeper love of Jesus he was longing for. 

He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, has owned several businesses and worked in churches in both Youth Pastor and Executive Pastor roles. He married his high school sweetheart, Robin, and they have three amazing children.

Cassy is originally from Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a degree in Strategic Communication, she worked as a Campaign and Development Director for a non-profit then for a church. In 2017, she felt the Lord inviting her to Redding where she completed 1st Year of BSSM. She tried to do 2nd Year as well, until the Moores hired her as the Project Manager for BSSM School Planting. As the dream for BSSM Online began to grow, she transitioned into Director of Operations for Online and has been a catalyst to get the school off the ground. Cassy is a pioneer and a builder with a heart to put Jesus above all else, inviting people into a journey of knowing Him deeply and fully focusing on His presence. Cassy is always up for adventure, trying new things, and gathering people. She loves early mornings, seeing the seeds sprout in her plants and garden, and hosting beautiful dinner parties.

Clare was born and bred in London, England and found herself coming over to the big U.S.A. the summer of 2010 to start BSSM First year in Redding, California. Having finished the 3 year program, Clare became an RGP in the First Year of school for 3 years. Her mum became suddenly unwell and then passed away which led to her popping back over the pond for a year. Following this, she worked for Kathy Vallotton before taking a pause this summer and then joining the BSSMO team.

Clare is passionate about people feeling skilled and equipped to communicate and build relationships with health and wholeness. This is something she and her wonderful husband Peter feel a mandate to bring to the world around them. From her own journey, Clare has navigated who God is in the valleys of life as well as the mountain tops. So she is committed to people being given space to really be honest, honest with themselves and with God. It’s what He sent His Son for, relationship with us, his sons and daughters.

Katy was born in West Texas, USA. She grew up loving Jesus, football, and Mexican food from a young age and was a competitive figure skater and certified coach. She’s spent her life leading worship, children, youth, and young adult ministry. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Photography. She met her husband Will at church camp, serving as counselors and they married in 2007. Together they have three beautiful kids, Camra, Jones and Hollis. Katy and her family spent time as missionaries in India and later moved to Redding where she attended BSSM and her husband attended the Bethel School of Technology, where he now works as a mentor. 

Katy is passionate about seeing people embrace their story within Christ's redemptive and restorative nature and live in the purity, freedom and authority that Christ paid for. She believes that revival comes through family that pursue Jesus and live whole, healthy and free! She loves to spend time with her family, drink coffee and connect with people and hear their stories.

Louise is an Aussie from Sydney who moved to Redding in 2009 because she said, "God if there's more of You to know then I want that" and God led her and her husband, Shane to Bethel Church. She completed 3 years of BSSM as a student then became a BSSM Revival Group Pastor in First Year for 4 years. She has enjoyed the past few years at home with her young kids and is excited to now be on the BSSM Online team.

Louise enjoys spending time with her family (her 7, 4 and 2 year old) and husband of 20 years, Shane. They all love playing outdoors in the sunshine whether it be bike riding, skiing, going to the lake or walking. Louise especially loves the ocean, traveling and eating good food.

Marlene has been a youth and young adult pastor for almost 30 years bringing people into a greater understanding of their true identity in Christ.  Her greatest passion is to love people and love them well as she helps them to fulfill their destinies. She is often heard saying, “Love always leaves a significant mark”. Her vision is to see Christians walk in wholeness while anointing and power bringing revival and transformation in whatever realm of society they have influence.  

She has been on staff at Bethel since 2005 and is originally from Eastern Washington. Family is one of her top priorities and she loves spending time with her husband of 39 years, Jerry, three children, and 13 grandchildren.

Rainer was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and is married to his childhood sweetheart, Laurie Ann. After marrying in 2005 and spending 12 years in the business world, they moved to Redding  in 2017 with their 6 children to pursue more of God, build community, and live out the mandate "On Earth as it is in Heaven". 

Rainer has a calling to minister in an outpouring of Joy and carries an anointing for people to experience the Love of Father God in their lives. His desire is to see all of God's children walk in total freedom, brought into wholeness through supernatural healing of body, soul and spirit, and seek the restoration of hearts through Kingdom family lifestyle.

Gisah Janzen is passionate about teaching women, parents, kids and families how to listen to God's voice and live a relevant life. She experienced a miscarriage and a rare womb disease but God delivered, healed and miraculously gave a new perfect womb. Today she and her husband Konrad have 4 kids: Johann, Conny, Lisa and Louise. They are from Brazil and came to BSSM where their gifts were activated. Back in their hometown they founded a supernatural school of ministry and a women's movement. She created online courses for women, parents and pregnant couples to flow in the supernatural. They have seen hundreds of healings, many women healed of infertility, families restored, and churches being equipped to freely live the supernatural lifestyle of Jesus Christ. Nowadays she lives in Redding and is a Revival Group Pastor at BSSM Portuguese. 

Yan Mattos, married to Lívia and Eric's father, worked as a dentist for 8 years. He saw the power of God being manifest at the dentist office, in his patients and staff and peers. That's when he started teaching young people to move in the supernatural in a natural way at his local church. He was prompted by signs and wonders to start an itinerant ministry teaching even more people in the Body of Christ. He is passionate about the glory and the love of God being manifest, seeing people becoming aware of the Father's Presence and manifesting the supernatural Kingdom in every area of society.

Henri Pera has been married to Karine since 2013 and together they raise Sofia, their daughter. He is a radical encourager by nature and also a serial entrepreneur, having developed businesses in the food, civil construction, real estate and technology industries. In 2019 he moved with his family to Redding, California, and attended all three years of BSSM. His purpose in life is to help people renew their minds so that they experience the presence and love of God day after day.

Karine Garcia Pera had a life transforming experience when she was 33 years old after an encounter with God. 

She moved from Brazil to Redding in 2019, to study at BSSM. She left behind a 20 year career as a TV Reporter, as well as the leadership of a church group in Brazil. 

Together with her husband Henri and her daughter Sofia, she said yes to God’s invitation to a radical change which also required radical obedience and faith. She is passionate about seeing people overcome fears and limiting beliefs, to access the truth about who God is and who they are. As a family, they carry the message of the gospel’s simplicity. They find in the everyday experiences with God, the keys to resignifying people’s journeys, establish identities and create space for an abundant life! 

Honored to be a Brazilian revival group pastor, translation team pastor, and one of the pioneers in building the Portuguese school from the ground up! Passionate about the Word and helping others discover they can hear the voice of the Lord. I'm living aware that joy is a third of the Kingdom! I love seeing families restored, the supernatural invading the ordinary and watching dramas in my spare time (God talks through plot twists too!) 

Aline was born in the Amazon region of Brazil. 

She surrended her life to Jesus at the age of 5 and has been following Jesus ever since. 

Aline finished High school and left her family and local church to join a missionary seminary. 

Aline has been involved in missions since then. She has done missionary work in over 15 countries, working with different organizations, doing long and short term missions. 

Aline is married to her South African husband Francois du Toit for 15 years and has two precious princesses, Joy and Emma. 

Aline is passionate about experiencing Jesus’ heart and finding out what He is doing and joining in, she loves to move with the Spirit and seeks to lead from that place. 

She is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission, making disciples of all nations, and activating people to walk in freedom to express the facet of God’s character that is unique to them.

In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family, have deep conversations with friends, laugh and eat good food. 

Regi is passionate about empowering others to embrace and live out their heavenly identity with freedom, power, and purpose. She deeply desires to see people transformed through the redemptive love of the Father and to cultivate an awareness of His manifest Presence and glory.

Born in Brazil, Regi married her high-school sweetheart, Cristiano, in 1997. When their daughter, Bruna, was 8 months old, they moved to Miami, where they lived for 18 years and welcomed their son, Lucas.

After a life-changing visit to Bethel, the Da Silva's felt the Lord's calling to move to Redding. She has always been deeply passionate about the move of God in the Spanish-speaking world, and after First Year, was a part of the core team of volunteers that helped support and found the vision for BSSM Español. Her heart longs to see Jesus receive His full reward on Earth through the flourishing of healthy families and the restoration of our identities as sons and daughters of the King.

She loves to have fun, laugh, travel, spend time with family and have coffee dates with friends.

I was born and raised in Viña del Mar, Chile. Coming from a family of pastors, my life was marked by church activities and personal encounters with Jesus. At 17, I decided to begin walking with Jesus after a powerful encounter with God's grace and mercy. When I was about 20 years old, I moved to the USA, where I graduated from college and began a career in the coffee industry. I also pastored a youth group and led worship teams for over four years in San Diego, CA. After a time of “holy” dissatisfaction, I decided to move to Redding and study at BSSM. In Redding, I also met my beloved wife, Florencia, with whom I shared the three years of BSSM. My heart beats for the most beautiful man, Jesus! And I am passionate about the spiritual formation of the church. I believe in a church that lives following Jesus' steps and is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Some of my favorite activities include playing soccer, playing the piano, brewing and drinking coffee, cooking, and sharing meals with my family and friends.

Shelden moved to Redding in 2017 to attend BSSM. She completed all three years of school, serving Seth Gerber for her Third year. She is passionate about seeing heaven touch everything she does. She loves to see people grow and dream with the Lord. She is a worship leader and has served in the church most of her life. Her biggest dream and passion is to write music that brings people to the Lord. 

Shelden loves to travel, write music, and be outdoors.

It is my absolutely privilege to administrate revival in our First Year Program! I love getting to support our students to get the most our of their BSSM Online experience. I am also Laurie Ann Kendrick’s personal assistant, and these roles mean I get to be behind the scenes every day helping to facilitate our program. Prophetic administration is a passion and gift on my life, and I believe God moves powerfully in our plans when we submit them to Him. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will make your paths straight.” I did BSSM in person starting in 2014 and worked for Steve and Wendy Backlund’s ministry for over 6 years. This background of revival and empowering hope built such a fun foundation for my current role. I have an incredible husband named Luke and a gigantic labrador named Donut. I love music, worship, and have over 130 houseplants. Thank you for letting me support you in your journey!

Grace is passionate about seeing people step into who God has called them to be. She comes alive in strategic administration and heart ministry. Grace is a pastor and teacher at heart and is committed to seeing Jesus get his full reward. Grace lives in Redding with her Husband, Colin, and son, Benaiah. When she is not at work, she can be found outdoors exploring trails and climbing mountains. If you ever need a hiking buddy, hit her up!

In 2018, Michael relocated from Pennsylvania to Redding be apart of the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) and the creative Bethel community. His passion is helping people discover their true identity in Jesus Christ.

With a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and over 15 years of experience in worship, production management, and videography, Michael has played a vital role in BSSM and Bethel Production since 2018.

Beyond his work, he's an enthusiast for coffee, culinary arts, photography, and travel. Michael also extends his skills to a video production company, equipping local churches nationwide.

Hi everyone, my name is Ruth. I’m originally from LA, raised in Nevada, and spent a few years living in Oregon. I’m about to graduate my 3rd year at BSSM, and I’m super excited for what’s ahead.

Growing up, I always had a heart for helping and making a difference, which eventually led me to get a degree in criminology and criminal justice. My faith journey began in 2020 when Jesus became my best friend after my earthly best friend passed away, it was a turning point in my life.

A little about me: I love the outdoors, but I’m also all about cozy days (especially when it’s cold). And if food were a love language, it would 100% be mine, but I’ll stick with acts of service. I’m really excited to be part of this team and see what God is going to do.

I am the first American on our BSSM Portuguese team! I am from Los Angeles but have been living in Redding for almost 7 years now. I work as our school administrator and am passionate about seeing Latin America being transformed through our online school even if it is through a simple email! I strongly believe everyone is called to be a son and daughter of the Lord and will always champion others to move in authority and intimacy with Him!

A vibrant Brazilian-born, Luana Sodré is working as an administrative assistant at Bethel Church, where she brings her passion for communication, service, and creativity. Married and a mother of three, she navigates life with warmth, faith, and a heart for people. With a background in law, business, and pastoral training, Luana discovered that instead of eating her emotions, she processes them by cooking — pouring her love into every meal and every song she sings. A storyteller at heart, she also finds solace in writing, capturing life’s moments with a blend of grace and authenticity.

Mariana is an administrator of BSSM Online for Portuguese speaking nations. She had an encounter with God when she was 14 years old and her life was never the same. From this moment on, she understood that there was more to be discovered in her relationship with the Father. Born in Brazil, she attended a pastoral seminar and she and her husband became passionate about church planting and bringing the life of Jesus to Brazilians around the world. As a family, they started to plant Portuguese-speaking churches in New York, New Jersey and Florida for 7 years. In 2022 her family had a supernatural encounter with God, and the felt led to a new season where they moved from Florida to California to attend the BSSM on campus in Redding, where she graduated after the second year of the school. He has a heart for work with people and spares no effort to bring about the Kingdom of God to the earth. She lives with her husband and three children in California and when she is not working on BSSM, she enjoys going outdoors with her family for a trip, hiking or biking.
