IMG_3408.MOVIn Social studies we learned about the Southwest Region Native Americans and their cultures and homes. Today they got to create their own "Pueblos" in groups and present them to each other!
One of our study activities for our European Exploration test was choosing a country that we learned about with your partner; Find the most important information about that country and then teach it to the class! It was a great way to review the different countries we went over during the Unit.

In E.L.A this week; we dove into our novel Esperanza Rising and did a lot of class discussions and group work to break down certain events from the story!!
During one of our Social Studies Lessons this week the students learned about Ancient Native American Cave paintings, and then created their own "cave art" with symbols that represent them as a person!!
Today in Social Studies we learned about Spain's exploration to North America and colored and labeled the places they colonized!
