Experiential learning expands in Middle Division with all grade levels taking trips at the beginning of the year. Mrs. Boss shared about the change, "The first week of school was very different this year, and from all accounts, a very positive change for all. The sixth grade had their four days of orientation concluding with a terrific trip to Discovery Cove that allowed for much greater comfort to all the new experiences they faced when classes began; seventh grade traveled to the Circle F Dude Ranch for team building and class bonding, and eighth grade finished a challenging, meaningful experience in the mountains of North Carolina that continues to be referenced in conversations, speeches, and class meetings. I am excited for the beginning of each successive year knowing that our students will be challenged in developmentally appropriate ways that allow us to begin the year a more cohesive group of educators and students." Read the following articles to get the details about the trips and see a picture gallery for each trip.
