Contacting Math Teachers
If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress, please contact the teacher first. The best method of contact is through email. Teachers usually respond within 48 hours.
Guidance Counselors
If your child needs help with their math course progression, or has questions about course sequencing, please have them contact his or her Guidance Counselor.
Parent Resource Center
If your child needs additional supports to help them succeed in math, please contact the liaisons at the Family Resource Center.
Online Support
The entire MVP curriculum can be found here. Additionally, we have created support websites with videos for each module. Please check out the links on the Student and Parent Resources page.
CCC Tutoring: Monday-Thursday 3:30-6pm in the College and Career Center. Students can receive help from college tutors in any subjects.
youcubed: This website, run by Professor Jo Boaler at Stanford University, provides videos and resources to support students around mathematical mindsets. We highly recommend that students take the online student course here. We encourage parents to take the same class as well so they can better understand how to help support their children (it's free).
Desmos: This website provides an online graphing calculator tool. Students may have used this resource during class and can be used when completing homework assignments when appropriate.
Parent-run Support Site: This is an independent parent-run website that provides support around learning with MVP and module overviews.
