2020 National Letter of Intent Commits and Signees

November 11th was the first National Letter of Intent Day for the class of 2021. Unfortunately we were unable to have an in-person event this year due to COVID restrictions. We hope to do one in the spring.

Across the country, and around the world, scholar-athletes are signing letters of commitment to play their sports at the next level. We honor and celebrate the remarkable achievements of those Berkeley High students who have made the important decision of what college they will be attending next year to continue their athletic endeavors.

One of the most exciting moments for a scholar-athlete is receiving a verbal scholarship or commitment offer from a university or college. Years of hard work and dedication have led to this moment, but nothing is official until they sign their NLI (National Letter of Intent).

What does it mean to sign a National Letter of Intent?:

However, at Berkeley High, we are also celebrating those students who have made the choice to pursue athletics at the Division three level. While they may not be receiving any financial support for their athletic process, these students have found colleges and universities that value the talent and commitment of these athletes. Their hard work is also worthy of our praise and celebration.
