2025 SUMMER JAMZ CAMP AT BERKELEY HIGH SCHOOL

A little about Berkeley High School Cheer

• Cheer is considered a year-round sport (performing from May - Feb)

• Tryouts are generally in April (the 2nd week after spring break) - there will be announcements on the school's e-tree messaging system!

• 3 team levels - Varsity and Junior Varsity and Freshman

  1. 1. 1. • Freshman team tryouts are held in August shortly after school begins

• We cheer on the sidelines primarily for Football and Basketball season

• BHS Cheer Competition team is a team of selected individuals from the cheerleaders that are on the sideline team. We compete in local JAMZ Championships with the determination of placing to compete in the JAMZ National Competition held in Las Vegas, NV.  

• 2023 JAMZ NATIONALS 3rd PLACE TEAM!!!
