PE Credit

Unlike many schools, BHS Student-Athletes are awarded 5 PE credits and a letter grade for participation in their sport. As the BHS Student Code of Conduct and Parental Expectations agreement lay out, playing a CIF sport is a privilege. Access to this privilege requires a large time commitment and grade eligibility. Roster and playing time decisions are at the discretion of the coach. 

In order to receive PE credit for sports, student athletes must:

1. Complete the season (including pre and post season). Student athletes cannot quit or be removed from the team. Attend all practices, games, meetings, etc.


2. Be academically eligible to start the season and remain academically eligible at the mid-season eligibility check. 


3. Meet the participation expectations of the coach.
