Hi! I'm an NSF postdoctoral research fellow in the department of linguistics at the University of Chicago.
My work is on speech perception and production. I'm especially interested in multilingualism, second-language acquisition, accented speech, and perceptual learning.
The current focus of my research is on understanding the mechanisms that allow listeners to adapt to an unfamiliar non-native accent. How do listeners achieve rapid, long-lasting learning, and how do they generalize such learning to new speakers?
