Getting there from the airport (if flying)

You can take Bart from either SFO or Oakland to the Downtown Berkeley Bart station. BART instructions and details can be found on Google Maps or BART’s website. BART is not a 24-hour service and does stop running late at night.

From there, you can take the Blue Route of the Berkeley Lab Shuttle to the Guest House (Building 23). The bus stop is on the northbound side of Shattuck between Center and Allston. Look for “Berkeley Lab Shuttle Stop” signs. You can use the Shuttle Trip Planner to plan your trip.

Parking at the hotel (if driving)

Parking is issued on a first-come, first-served basis for guests of the Guest House. You should not have an issue getting a space.

Drive: The Guest House is a 4-minute drive to the UC Botanical Garden. Some guests have been assigned a parking spot at the Botanical Garden. You are encouraged to carpool from the Guest House. 

Shuttle: If needed, there are also Berkeley Lab Shuttles that will come close to the Guest House and the Botanical Garden. You can use the Shuttle Trip Planner to plan your trip. You can ask the front desk of the Guest House for assistance.
