I created wireframes for both the high-fidelity Bank Connectivity process and the low and mid-fidelity Manual Imports within the Financials Pod. These wireframes enable users to independently establish financial institution (FI) connectivity, allowing them to initiate their business operations using the NSE platform. The subsequent prototype shows how a user would link their corporate credit card account to Citibank, as well as their checking and savings accounts to Silicon Valley Bank.
The challenge was to create a user-friendly interface that would allow users to independently link their corporate accounts with financial institutions (FIs), such as Citibank and Silicon Valley Bank, within the NetSuite platform. This involved designing intuitive workflows for bank connectivity and manual imports, ensuring seamless integration into NetSuite's ecosystem while prioritizing clarity, simplicity, and adherence to NetSuite's Redwood Design system.
My approach consisted of conducting research on the onboarding journey of new NetSuite customers. This enabled me to create a user persona in order to understand the needs, pain points, and expectations of target users. I then created low, mid, and high-fidelity wireframes, prioritizing user-focused information architecture, guiding customers seamlessly through the setup process while preventing information overload. Adopting a progressive disclosure approach, I presented information progressively as needed, ensuring users could navigate the interface with ease and confidence. Additionally, I incorporated NetSuite's Redwood Design system to give the interface a modern and aesthetic touch, aligning with the platform's overall look and feel.
The primary goal of the project was to create a seamless and empowering user experience for new NetSuite customers setting up bank connectivity independently. By achieving this goal, we aimed to enhance customer satisfaction, increase efficiency in onboarding processes, and reinforce NetSuite's position as a trusted provider of financial management solutions.
