Academic Classes

During PREP, you will be taking 2 classes: math and either computer science or chemistry (depending on your major). Program Manager Britt Mazorra will reach out to you to let you know what classes you'll be taking before the start of the program.

The class times are as follows:

• Computer Science (EECS, ECE, Chemical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering majors): 

  • Lecture: MWF10:30am-12pm in 162 Grimes Engineering Center

  • Discussion: TuTh 10-11am in 162 Grimes Engineering Center

• Chemistry (all majors except for EECS, ECE,  & ME): 

  • Lecture: MWF 10:30am-12pm in 164 Grimes Engineering Center

  • Discussion: TuTh 10-11am in 164 Grimes Engineering Center

• Precalculus (for those who are recommended to take Precalculus in the Fall):

  • Lecture: MWF 9-10:30am in 162 Grimes Engineering Center

  • Discussion: TuTh 9-10am in 162 Grimes Engineering Center

• Calculus (for those who are recommended to take Calculus in the Fall):

  • Lecture: MWF 9-10:30am in 164 Grimes Engineering Center

  • Discussion: TuTh 9-10am in 164 Grimes Engineering Center

Our classes are taught by fellow students called Learning Facilitators and Tutors. They each have unique expertise and experience in the subject they are teaching and are here to support you in building a strong foundation in the material!
