Nysa is a second year dental student at UC Berkeley with a passion for mitigating disparities in surgical care in the world. As the president she created Operational Smile to unite passionate volunteers to expand cleft lip and palette awareness. She loves to be involved in and give back to the community!

Riya is a second year MCB major on the pre-dental track at UC Berkeley. She is the Vice President and founded the International Students Program. She is thrilled to leads this initiative which helps connect students internationally and offers a platform for those eager to make a difference in the global community.

Megan is a second year MCB major on the pre-med track at UC Berkeley. She is the Public Relations Co-Officer passionate for creating a platform for students to easily find and get involved with OSAB. She is passionate about medicine and skin science. She hopes to be a dermatologist and some of her interests include music and pilates!

Vy is a junior majoring in MCB and Neuroscience on the pre-dental track. She hopes to open a community clinic in the future. Being an officer for high school outreach she manages contacting schools in the Bay Area to get them involved!

Jennifer is a junior majoring in MCB with an emphasis on Cell Biology, Development & Physiology. She is a Co-Director of Finance. As a pre-dental student she has a huge passion for preventative healthcare and comprehensive treatment. She looks forward to applying in the next two cycles and would be more than happy to answer any questions for pre-health/pre-dental.

Jasan is another one of our Co-Director of Finance she oversees the financial aspects of the organization's operations. Such as improving purchases, raising funds, and ensuring that all funds are allocated effectively to the organization's various initiatives.

Meet Ryan Chu, a current second-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley. He is actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Biology. With a strong passion for STEM and a strong foundational background in biological sciences, he is interested in pursuing a career in dentistry, specifically in its intersection with oral health. He also plans to delve deeper and expand his involvement in health systems science improvements, patient education, and dental technology advancements. Overall, he strives to leverage my educational experiences and positively impact the evolving field of dental medicine.

Rebecca Marie Ascencio is a second-year pre-dental student at UC Berkeley, majoring in Nutrition and Metabolic Biology! Fun fact about me: I love doing the StairMaster for 40 minutes as my fun cardio day, hopefully, it gets me through dental school!

She is on her journey toward dental school, and planning to apply in the next cycle. She’s excited about a future where she can combine her love for healthcare, advocacy, and hands-on service to create brighter smiles and healthier lives.
