Kevin Brown is a fourth year Berkeley Student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to traditional engineering courses, he has focused much of his course work on the design and manufacturing of products. He hopes to use the theoretical and applied framework he has received within the aviation industry after graduation. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, surfing, and exploring the local restaurant scene.
James Lee is a third year undergraduate student studying Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley. He has a focus in mechanical and industrial design and manufacturing. Outside of school, James enjoys fashion, jiu jitsu, basketball, and finding new music!
Alex Park is a junior in the mechanical engineering program at UC Berkeley. Likes to make things.
Hi, I’m Tuan! I am an undergraduate mechanical engineering student at UC Berkeley. I’m experienced in CAD, 3D modeling and prototyping, and fabrication methods including 3D printing, mills and lathes. I’m especially interested in applying advanced and emerging manufacturing methodologies to the aerospace industry and product development. I was working for start up company and my job is designing a gearbox for our 3D printed bike. The 3D printed gearbox obviates the need for chains and cogs, resulting in a simpler, cheaper, and more mechanically efficient bike.
I like play basket ball, piano and chess. I also enjoy making animation. The link below is my current animation which I make for another class project. I hope you enjoy it

Joe is currently pursuing a MS in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley. His coursework includes a focus in mechanical design & controls, and he is the president of Cal Aero, an engineering competition team that designs and builds RC aircraft. He has interned at Boeing and hopes to pursue a career in defense aerospace. He wastes an inappropriate amount of time playing video games.
