Crystal-Growing Box

We wanted to create a temperature controlled environment for crystal growing. Temperature control is critical in the crystal growing process to prevent premature "crashing-out" of the crystal growing solution. To provide thermal stabilization, we utilized Peltier units (which can provide both heating and cooling), fans (to remove waste heat from the Peltier units), and motors to stir the water bath and keep the temperature homogeneous.
