Inspiration: Coming from a mechanical engineering background, we wanted to explore motor control without the use of a full on microcontroller board. We decided to design an ESC for sensored brushless motor to be able to to control motor speed.
Goal: To use the hall effect position feedback to electrically commutate and actuate the brushless motor.
Description: The board is powered by a battery and the voltage is stepped down to 3.3V using a voltage regulator and with the use of a potentiometer, the voltage supplied to the motor is adjusted which adjusts the motor speed to the desired one.
