A traditional battery management system takes a battery and monitors the temperature of it to ensure optimal battery performance. For our project, we have made a battery management system specifically for the 18650 battery, as this battery is used for multiple items, like flashlights, electric cars, and laptops.
The main idea is to use the thermocouple and voltage sensor to actively measure a battery, and utilizing the ESP-32 to regulate the voltage measure / temperature measure.
The main components were the esp32-solo and the LTC2990IMS (temperature monitor)

The soldering process was pretty difficult:
multiple misc. parts (resistors, capacitors, etc.) were too small due to a discrepancy in metric and imperial measurements
the screen was fascinatingly bent after getting soldered onto the board
board was slightly burnt due to too high temperatures with the tip
Always make sure parts are either all in metric lengths, or all in imperial lengths!
Add a TON of test-points on your board to avoid future headaches!
Perform the right calculations to get the correctly-measured resistors and capacitors!
