Wear Safety Glasses

The upper guard MUST be set as close to the material as possible, at least within ¼”

DO NOT install cracked blades

DO NOT feed material too fast; let the saw do the cutting

DO NOT run the scroll saw too fast because the blade will wear out quickly

DO NOT cut acrylics or plastics at high speed: it will damage the blade and melt the material

Examine the blade for any cracks

If the blade breaks, immediately power down the machine and stand clear until the machine stops 

Use a proper pitch blade for the thickness of the material to cut
