Project Objective
Work with senior analysts and statisticians to calculate Missile Reliability with confidence limits for STANDARD Missiles using an existing Reliability Assessment Tool application created in Excel. The task will require obtaining knowledge in missile reliability modeling and modifications to the application. It also includes documenting the steps to update the data and the statistical process. Result of the research will be to document the modeling tool for operation on STANDARD Missile-2(SM-2)

- Document the functionality and assess the coding structure of the Reliability Assessment Tool
- Convert the tool from Evolved SeaSparrowMissile (ESSM) to SM-2
- Make Tool malleable to be used on other Missile Projects
- Evaluate missile data, understand the factors of reliability missile modeling and how it's used to benefit the Navy

Results
- Created Userβs Manual to document source code which allows users to modify the tool based on their own project
- Identified and documented functions which are needed to properly convert the ESSM Reliability Assessment Tool to an SM-2 Reliability Assessment Tool
- Evaluated weights of modals for SM-2 reliability calculation
