AIR QUALITY
WANT TO BREATHE CLEANER AIR?
YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.
In this website, we will show you some cost-effective methods to reduce air pollution exposure to a level your body can safely handle.
If you are indoors (and most people spend 90% of their time indoors!), you can use an air filter or an air purifier to clean your air. Which one should you buy?
If you have a central HVAC system in your house, consider an air filter. Click here to find out more about air filters.
If not, consider an air purifier. Click here to find out more about air purifiers.
You can use PurpleAir to figure out the air quality in your area. If you live in an area with poor air quality, it is recommended to keep windows and doors closed and run an air purifier 24/7.
This map is centered on Stockton, CA. Feel free to drag your cursor to any location of your preference on the left. You can also visit map.purpleair.com or download an app to view the data, like Airwyn.
WHAT'S MY AIR QUALITY?
The circles on the map represent the amount of air pollution detected by sensors in that area. If the circle(s) in your area appear green or yellow, the air is safe for most populations; if it's orange to dark red, you should look into ways to reduce your air pollution exposure and wear an N-95 mask outside.
DO YOU LIVE IN THE SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY?
Download the RAAN app on your phone. It will alert you when air quality in your area becomes poor!
