NUTRITION
Hemarate FA is an iron supplement primarily targeted to prevent and treat iron-deficiency anemia, as well as folate deficiency, and the decrease in plasma homocysteine. By taking the supplement regularly, it can improve one’s hemoglobin and hematocrit level which are responsible for the collection of oxygen from the lungs to the tissues within a red-blood cell, and the percentage of red-blood cells in a person’s blood, respectively.

PROPER USAGE
Iron supplements are best consumed on an empty stomach. On the other hand, ingestion of milk, calcium, and antacids are discouraged when also consuming iron supplements. Because of this, an interval of at least 2 hours is recommended before taking these foods. Moreover, Iron supplements can also be taken with vitamin c supplements as it can help absorb iron into your body.
PROPER STORAGE
The product should be kept at a temperature not exceeding 30C as it contains water-soluble content such as B vitamins which makes it temperature-sensitive when exposed to excessive heat, light, oxygen that can be seen in the air, and humidity.

It is important that expired, damaged, or contaminated vitamins or supplements should be disposed of properly as it can still inflict hazardous causes to children and animals inside the household. There are places within cities where hazardous wastes such as vitamins and supplements can be thrown off for safe disposal.
Furthermore, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) also recommends to pulverize the products first, mix it with coffee grounds or cat litter, and then place them into a sealed bag or back in its old container. By this, it can now be finally disposed safely into the trash.
