Epic books truly is epic! Think of Epic as the "Netflix" of the digital book world. Epic has thousands of digital books from the primary level up. There's a great selection of informational books as well as fiction. Epic generously allows teachers to register their class and make use of the service for free during school hours, and many lower school teachers take advantage of this. Parents can purchase a family subscription for home at the very reasonable price of $7.99 a month! The subscription includes up to 4 members. The service can be accessed through a laptop or by downloading the Epic app for a tablet or phone. Below is a short video I put together for accessing Epic using an iPad app. The sign-in from the website is similar - click the log-in option at the top right and enter the child's class code.

Reading with Epic doesn’t have to end when school is out. You can keep fueling your students’ love of reading after hours with Epic Free. When parents sign up for an Epic Free account using their email addresses, their kids can access a limited selection of Epic books, plus two free hours of reading per week.
Here's a helpful guide created by teacher Karen Berry to take parents through the initial sign-in process!
