Roger Mulford was a longtime beloved Belmont High School art teacher who very generously left a bequest to the FBE to benefit deserving students in the pursuit and education of the fine arts.
During his tenure at Belmont High School, Roger Mulford created a safe space where students could find support and validation within the school. He represented much more than the arts as an elective —his open classroom allowed students to thrive and even survive. These funds honor his legacy by continuing to provide that kind of strong support and validation to students through financial awards and recognition.
