It was wonderful to celebrate all of the amazing student artwork at the Reception on Tuesday, May 2nd. Congrats to all the participating artists and teachers who made this positive community event possible.
The work will be up until end of day Monday, May 8th.
More than 100,000 students submitted more than 260,000 works of art to the 2023 Scholastic Awards. Two students from Belmont (Aviv Getz and Joy Son) were selected by some of the foremost leaders in the visual and literary arts for excellence in originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision. Less than 2,000 works received a National Medal, which places our students within the top 1% of all submissions! Amazing work!!
