Students in DP1 have been working on LINE, NEGATIVE SPACE, and VALUE.
This course focuses on building drawing and painting skills and techniques and applying them to the creation of various expressive works of art. Drawings from life and observation, as well as imaginative and expressive works of art, will be created. Art history, vocabulary and new techniques will be covered through slide presentations, films, and demonstration. You will complete the course with an extensive Drawing and Painting portfolio.
