Quickly navigate to certain page numbers in PDF files

On a PDF, click "command F", then enter the page number you are looking for to quickly navigate to it!  Check the table of contents to see what page numbers you might need!

Intervention and Extension

Opportunities for both exist in the sidebars of every lesson within the teacher's manual.  Additionally, you have access to Amplify Reading, Read Works, as well as Remediation guides for each unit.  Ask your coach for help!

Progress Monitoring Tips

Looking for a good time to get your bi-monthly progress monitoring done?  When it's progress monitoring week, make it a goal to get 5 students assessed per day.  That makes it a manageable 5 minutes per day for you as the teacher, but still gets you done by the end of the week!

What should kids do when they finish early?

Throughout the year, but especially during the first few unit of Amplify, there are times when students will finish work early, especially on assessment days.  As a teacher, you want engaging and meaningful work for the students to do.  Here are some ideas that teachers are using!

Amplify Reading:  Use Amplify's app to keep students engaged in learning at their level!

Book Boxes:  Allow students some time to just explore and enjoy books!

Learning Apps: Epic, ReadWorks, IXL, Seesaw

Seesaw activities:  Seesaw has really outdone themselves on the activities end of things this year.  These are great, purposeful, and independent activities for kids!  There are also several listening station activities on there where students can listen to a story. 

Catch Up: Have students finish work, edit items, or do a remediation activity.
