Mrs. Chain's 2026/27 Kindergarten Rules

1. Follow directions quickly.

2. Raise your hand for permission to speak during instruction.

3. Use an inside voice.

4. Use walking feet.

5. When others are talking you stop.

Each rule has hand motions to go with it. The rules are recited with the hand motions at the

beginning of each day and as needed throughout the day.

When a student doesn't follow a rule he/she will move their "banana" from our "banana tree".

1st move =warning

2nd move=5 minute from

3rd move=10 minutes from recess

4th move= no recess

5th move= trip to Mrs. Waller

Behavior charts are sent home daily and will reflect how your child's behavior was for the day.  Please look at these each day and sign on Friday. 

Any major misbehaviors such as hitting, biting, kicking or any action that could cause harm to a child will result in an immediate notification to Mrs. Waller.  

Students who are caught doing a good job following the rules or are being great citizens of our classroom receive “tiger bucks”. “Tiger Bucks” may be collected and spent at the designated time.

Students also receive oral praise, small treats and special activities throughout the day for awesome behavior.
