Our design philosophy is centered on creating nature friendly landscapes that meet individual needs and reflect the distinctive charm of Gainesville's native flora.  We offer custom landscape design for projects big and small. From a new flower bed to a full yard landscape design our designs are made with their environmental impact and potential in mind. When possible we use recycled materials and source from local vendors. Our team can take you from design to installation. 

We take a whole-yard ecological approach to every design, considering drainage, growth habits of existing and new plants, yearly cycles, along with many other factors. We design with longevity in mind, and try to envision what each of our designs will be at day 50, day 500, and day 5,000 after installation. Our design philosophy is about creating environments that you and our native plants and animals can enjoy and call home. Our joke is, "You call us when you want MORE bugs in your yard!" We are Florida Friendly Certified and a member of the Florida Native Plant Society. In 2024 we received the City of Gainesville Green Business Award.

Our design and build process begins with a one-hour consultation. During the consultation our staff will meet with you at your property, and first help identify existing site conditions and plant species. We will then dive into the vibrant world of nature friendly landscaping and discuss how to create the yard or add the elements that meet your vision. We charge $60 for consultations.
