The PTSA is now accepting entries for their Reflections Contest (deadline is 12/4/23).  All details can be found on the PTSA website and we'll also advertise this to parents in the newsletters and on social media.  

This contest is a great opportunity for students who are interested in the arts for the following categories:

• Dance choreography

• Film production

• Literature

• Photography

• Visual arts

• Music composition

Many students in grade 4-8 are preparing to participate in the Noetic Math competition. This math competition seeks to develop students' problem solving skills so that they will become better thinkers and be better prepared for advanced STEM studies. About 30,000 students across the country compete in the Noetic Math Challenge. You can read more about the competition here. 

A letter went out earlier this month about accessing your child's updated GSSP on Infinite Campus. You can find your child's GSSP under the document tab once you log on to IC. Your child's GSSP identifies the service models we'll use at Beechwood to meet the needs of your gifted student. As a reminder, you'll receive an update about your child's progress at the end of the second and fourth quarter on the report card.
