A Gifted and Talented Program identifies and then monitors and enriches a students' journey through school by working alongside the administration, teachers and community. Below are listed many of the current offerings available to our students. These lists are not exhaustive, and are being updated daily.

National History Day (Grades 7-12) National History Day is a year-long academic program focused on historical research, interpretation and creative expression for 7th to 12th grade students. By participating in NHD, students become writers, filmmakers, web designers, playwrights and artists as they create unique contemporary expressions of history. The experience culminates in a series of contests at the local and affiliate levels and an annual national competition in the nation's capital in June.
KUNA (Grades 6-12) Students hone their research, writing and persuasive speech skills. Students attend the KUNA conference in the spring.

Participate in the John O'Bryan Mathematics Competition - The John O'Bryan Mathematics competition is designed to stimulate interest in mathematics among high school students in Northern Kentucky and recognize outstanding mathematical achievement among those students
Noetic Math Challenge (Grades 7 & 8)
Evening Field Trip to the Sehnert Lecture Series, held every year by NKU during the fall semester. Students have the opportunity to hear from nationally-known mathematicians about fascinating topics and meet/mingle with NKU Mathematics faculty members and other high school students.
