rate their overall wellbeing (mental, emotional, and physical) during the school day as healthy to very healthy!
Our students had the opportunity to share their ideas about how Beechwood can continue to support student wellness and help them feel their best at school:
Continue to offer a wide variety of extra curriculars so that ALL students have opportunities to stay connected and feel a sense of belonging in and out of the classroom.
Continue to prioritize opportunities for students to make new and/or strengthen connections with trusted adults (teachers, counselors, coaches, staff) as a means of belonging and social connection.
Focus on the balance of high academic expectations as well and opportunities for creative outlets and strategies for managing stress.
