Piano
Chris began studying the piano at the age of six and continued until receiving his Bachelor's degree in piano performance from Lee University. He began teaching during his undergrad and continued through his tenure as music pastor at several churches in Kentucky, Delaware, Georgia and recently West Virginia before returning to Louisville. He enjoys performing through accompanying, church repertoire and recitals/concerts. Chris has been teaching for 35 years and loves seeing students develop into skilled players who enjoy music through their piano studies. He strives to find various methods and styles that reflect each students' musical taste. Chris looks forward to assisting students through their love for music to achieve musical excellence.

Academy Director | Violin Instructor
Steffany has been playing music in various genres and instruments her entire life from leading worship to classical string quartets. She has been teaching the violin for the past 18 years, has been an instructor at Beechland Academy of Music for the past 10 years and was recently named academy director in 2020. She studied violin at Henderson State University where she pursued a bachelor's degree in music. She is passionate about the Suzuki method and its benefits for young musicians. She loves to learn and is continuously pursuing to further her music education with conferences in violin pedagogy. She is looking forward to all that God has planned for Beechland Academy of Music! Steffany has been happily married for 11 years and has 6 children with her husband, Corey. They are currently members at Southeast Christian Church and serve on the worship team.

Piano & Voice
Marsha has been teaching voice and piano lessons since 1982 and has been taught general music classes in public and private schools from 1994-2021. She has also served as a choir director and organist in several churches for many years. Marsha has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Kentucky Wesleyan College and has received her Kentucky Teacher Certification for grades K-12. She has been teaching at Beechland Academy of Music for over 20 years and loves being part of her students' musical journey.
