Research Paper

You will not take a traditional 2-hour exam for Foundations of America during midterm exams. Instead, the research paper counts as your midterm exam grade, which is 10% of the course grade.

The deadlines are spread out so that you can complete each step of the process without getting overwhelmed. If you work effectively in class, you should have ample time and support to meet each deadline and successfully complete the paper.

All of your work is in your own Noodletools account which is shared with me, so I can monitor your progress. If you do not meet the deadlines for the research paper, you will see that reflected in the last grades of quarter 2 and the grades for quarter 3 until February vacation.

I will contact your parent/guardian if you miss two consecutive deadlines, and these grades will be posted in Aspen. The final grade for the research paper is the midterm exam grade, which is 10% of the course grade.
