Grading

Intersession is highly encouraged all four years at Bedford High School.

There are three possible grades:

P: Pass

NP: Non - Participation

F: Fail

Students receive a grade of P for participating in their activity and demonstrating good citizenship as outlined in the Student Handbook.

Students who will be out of school the three days of Intersession need to seek prior approval from the main office to receive an "NP" for a grade.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS MUST CALL ABSENCE LINE IF STUDENT WILL BE OUT DURING INTERSESSION.

Student absences will be considered excused when a parent communicates with the main office. Students who are excused absent one day can earn a Passing grade. Students who are excused absent two days can earn a Non-Participation grade.

Student absences will be considered unexcused if there is no communication from a parent to the main office. Students will also earn an unexcused absence if they skip part or all of a daily Intersession activity. An unexcused absence will result in a grade of F.
